Contribuiți la feedbackCenamos con unos amigos. Propuesta sorprendente. No voy a dar detalles para no hacer espoiler. Degustación de diversos platos, casi todos elaborados con productos de cercania. Cercania también del cocinero durante la cena... Vinos todos del Pirineo. Todo servido en cerámica artesana y muy bonits de la zona. Como nota desfavorable en mi opinión diria que quizá un poco caro para el producto ofrecido.
Cocina de creación, menu de degustación, platos originales y muy sabrosos, bien equilibrados i de productos de proximidad, ambiente familiar y con un maximo de 10 comensales todos en la misma mesa, al lado de la cocina donde se aprecia la profesionalidad de la pareja Silvia y Mariano, que dan un servicio perfecto, relajado y amable. En definitiva un restaurante diferente, ubicado en un precioso pueblo del Pallars Sobirà, y nos ha resultado una muy agradable sorpresa.
It is hard to do justice to the experience you have at Lo Paller del Coc. The peaceful village is beautifully located in the hills with stunning views of the snow capped mountains. The welcome from Mariano and Silvia was warm and genuine. The walking routes around the village are well signposted. Silvia’s massages are skilfully performed, and add to the air of relaxation you feel when staying in the village. And then there is Mariano’s food! It is more of an experience than a meal, in that you don’t have a menu and might find yourselves sharing the table with other guests. The food is simply stunning, not just in its variety and it’s flavours, but in the stunning presentation and the pride with which it is prepared. Each plate is a work of art. We had a truly memorable meal and we felt privileged to have been able to spend time here.
One of a kind “restaurant” with only one table and a surprise menu chosen by the chef. Magic things happen like cutting meat with a spoon and discover new flavors and textures. Outstanding gastronomic experience.
It is not a restaurant, it's way much better. Only one table, an amazing location, open by appointment only, no menu or a la carte, just one tasting menu with mainly local products mastered by the chef. A truly experience for those who value taste, tranquility and love for details.
