The texture was off, the chicken was overcooked, and the sauce was overly sweet and syrupy. The few pieces of overcooked, limp broccoli were just embarrassing. Honestly, I would rather eat gas station food than go through this experience again—at least gas station food offers better value and reliability.
The sesame chicken was really disappointing. The chicken was so slimy that I don't think it was even fried. The beef fried rice was equally unimpressive. I would recommend staying far away from this place.
Peking was a delightful surprise! I had tried to go a couple of times, but they were only offering takeout. I finally had the opportunity to dine in. The General Tso's chicken could have had a bit more spice, but considering the area, I understand why. The seafood basket was fantastic, packed with plenty of seafood, and the noodle basket was decent.
We live in the area and have eaten at Peking many, many times and it has been excellent. Unfortunately, our take out experience was not so good on Monday July 10th. We had lunch and the fried rice was terrible. It was bland brown rice. It didn't have peas, carrots or onions and we were not offered any soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce. We also had an order of crab rangoon. They were chewy, and tasted sour. Needless to say, we will not be visiting the restaurant for awhile. Are there new owners??
Ordered fried rice with extra beef 3 times over the course of 2 weeks. Price went up over $1.50 each new time I ordered. Last visit I paid almost $20 for a $11 order or fried rice with a few extra pieces of beef. Was up charged almost 70% of original price. Shady
