Owner is great. very tasty eating and beautiful shaded and sunny areas to sit outside. so glad we stopped here. Give him a chance!

This charming restaurant is a family-owned gem that has been passed down through three generations, now managed by Dennis and Pam. Pam is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about Scotch whisky, having lived in Scotland. She offers great insights and has a selection of high-end brands displayed in their shelves. I absolutely love this place!

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with an extensive selection of Irish whiskies. From the outset, Dennis was friendly and eager to share the history of the tavern. Pam was equally inviting, and we enjoyed exchanging stories about life in the bustling city versus the tranquility of the Northwoods. The raw food we tried was incredible, but we didn't sample everything on the menu. We will cherish our memories of Pat's Tavern from our trip to Rhinelander. A big thank you once again to Pam and Dennis!

I thought the food was amazing! I ordered a fish fry that came with French fries and bread. The fish had the best breading I've ever had, and it was really moist! The French fries were delicious as well. To top it all off, the rye bread was phenomenal; they toast and butter it, making it so tasty. I also had a brandy old fashioned, which was excellent. I will definitely be coming back for more!
