Bodega im Scheffel - Rheinberg

I wasn't planning on eating at the Bodega, but was impressed by the large number of diners present on a Tuesday evening in this sleepy lower Rhein town. But I am glad I did. The ambience was good, modern but traditional at the same time. The service was very friendly indeed, the staff patient with my poor German and even poorer Spanish. I had an excellent Chef's Salad, and two tasty tapas dishes. My Crema Catalan wasn't the best I ever tasted though. Excellent house rioja to wash it down. I would happily return.

Perfect! The pre-ordered paella with fish has far exceeded our expectations, it has tasted heavenly, even the wine was very good. The ambience is original and the service is very friendly, the chief charming courtesy!

Finally a real Spaniard!!! Great atmosphere, operation and above all the boss are super friendly and courteous and the food is fantastic A visit I can give everyone warmth to the heart. We live in the Münsterland and the long way was definitely worth it. We're coming back!
