Zagame's Reservoir Hotel

We had lunch here on a Saturday. I was very surprised at how large the bistro is and how many people were there for lunch! The menu prices seemed high for a pub bistro but the servings were quite generous. I LOVED the separate gluten free menu with goodies including garlic bread, pasta and pizza dishes and my favourite was a wonderful dip platter! The normal menu is pretty good and seniors offerings very good at great prices including a $3 pokies voucher.

We called in there on a Saturday nite and the place was very busy.The noise level from all the children there was not for us,but everyone else seem to be having fun.The service was average and the food was not much better.We wont be going back there soon.

Thousands of good family hotels in Victoria and when you are in Reservoir you can go to Zagames. For a reasonable cost, the food is of higher quality than normal hotel food. I had a well prepared King George Whiting (one of the best tasting SA fish) with risotto rice and kale; the traditional veal was good and kids meals. As you could expect with children it is noisy. Service was mixed with mistakes made.

We had such a fantastic experience at Zagames tonight. Great food, well priced excellent customer service. Great for the kids. The gentleman with glasses who works there goes above and behind to make you feel extremely welcome! 110% recommend!

Love zagames. Especially the atmosphere. Good food quantity and wine roo. Always book before you visit.
