Contribuiți la feedbackOn my first visit, I tried the Kässe Spätzle and the Berliner Bratwurst. I came back this week for the same Kässe Spätzle and the Landjäger/Käse plate, and both were outstanding. The Kässe Spätzle features sharp cheese, and I highly recommend adding bacon to it for an extra burst of flavor. The crispy onion rings on top are light and not overly battered, making it one of the best noodle dishes I’ve ever had—it even outshines my previous favorite mac and cheese at 127 W. Social House. The bartender, whose name is Troy, was really friendly, and all the other servers were wonderful, too. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, giving off a Dungeons and Dragons vibe—it feels like a pub that’s both sophisticated and warm. I can see myself coming back here at least once a month because I think I’ve found my new favorite spot. The Berliner Bratwurst was delicious! If you prefer a snappy brat, this might not be the place for you; I tend to like a snappier sausage myself, but the seasoning made it delightful. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, definitely try the beer float or the root beer float—they're fantastic. Lastly, the Landjäger plate was impressive. The sausage had a bit of a spicy kick, and the mustard was incredible—it might be some of the best I’ve ever had, whether house-made or not. I’m known as the "mustard monster" because I love sour flavors, and this mustard was perfect. The cheese selection was intriguing, with varieties ranging from a nutty Swiss to something resembling Havarti, and there was also a cheese that tasted like a mix of blue cheese, brie, and ricotta. Everything I’ve tried at Berliner Pub has been exceptional. If you haven’t been here yet, you absolutely need to check it out!
I've visited this place twice this month! It's a fantastic spot, and the servers are always excellent. There's a cozy outdoor seating area with a fire, which adds to the ambiance. It's the closest thing to Leavenworth in the area! You absolutely have to try the pickle fries, and the pretzel was amazing too. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
Berliner Pub has such a fun and cozy atmosphere. They serve all your classic German grub like bratwursts, pretzels, schnitzels, curry fries, etc.. They also have like twenty different beers on tap as well as a number of cocktails and seasonal drinks. My favorites are the Prickly Pear beer (which tastes like a honey seltzer) and the Munich Noire Shandy (which is a seasonal winter offering that tastes like a Ghirardelli raspberry dark chocolate bar in my opinion). The prices are very reasonable- my boyfriend got 1L of Prickly Pear beer for like $8! Service is fantastic. All servers are super nice and attentive. They have trivia nights on Wednesdays and I think Karaoke sometime over the weekend? The place is family friendly, but it's mostly just adults in the evenings. They have a back patio open when it's not raining cats and dogs. The decor is Gothic/Medieval era and they have their club members' beer steins lined along the walls which is a pretty cool addition. Overall, 5/5 for drinks, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere
Ambiance (4/5) Casual Pub. Liked the vibes and how big the place was. We went on Friday evening around 6:30 pm Service (4/5) The service was decent. We were group of 6 and the wait time was pretty good for 6 people. There were few drinks that didn 't go through the tablet, however they owned up and got our remaining drinks quickly Food (4/5) HIGHLY RECOMMEND Paulaner Weissbier . Amazing German beer! Loved it! The chicken wings were flavorful and the sauce was just perfect (not overwhelming). It paired really well with beer The grilled chicken sandwich and fries was good as well! However, the highlight was the BEER!! Will definitely going again
This may be my first experience at a German pub, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not typically a fan of traditional German cuisine, but this place really nails it. The charming fireplace in the center adds a nice touch, and the drinks were solid, easily a 7 out of 10 or better. I ordered the ham shank, and it was quite enjoyable. It was definitely parboiled and then fried, giving it a nice crunchy exterior. It was a bit fatty for my taste, but that’s just the nature of ham shanks. Bartender Mickey was knowledgeable and the atmosphere was lively and fun. Overall, a great spot to check out. Just a heads-up: they don’t serve Guinness, which I found a bit surprising for a pub. However, the German stein beer is good enough to make up for it!
