Can't say enough good things about this place! Service was excellent as always, the food was freshly interesting, and the drip coffee was seriously stellar.. everything was so delicious we had to go more! Even if they don't have the best staff/Menu/Coffee, I would still go to hang up for the ambience.. We just love to cool and admire local art, so this is a must every time we visit Talkeetna!

Beautiful café in Talkeetna with much healthier options. came here for breakfast last weekend. We have ordered online what you can do about their website - I recommend this especially during the busy summer! Everything was hot and ready for us when we arrived. I got the non-a-breakfast Burrito I didn't ask, but based on the ingredients I'm pretty sure it's vegan. It was delicious and filling. My husband got the smoked salmon bag and really enjoyed it. Good coffee too, and my husband got her house made Rhabarb Soda, which was great. I've been here to get bakery and that's all too good - especially their Kimmie cookies! I'll come back sometime and try their lunch menu. Her pizza also looks good, which they offer only a few days a week in the evening.

The prices are high, but you get good food. We had a special sandwich and Veggie Chili. Both exceeded expectations! The bread that came with the chili I believed was rye sunflower seed was amazing! I'm a local and this is my first time to eat here. I have no idea why I haven't eaten here yet. But dang!!! We also got a slice of lemon cranberry poppy cake, the slice was generous. We also have orange juice and peppermint tea. You need to have options available and their to-go packages are environmentally friendly! Very surprised! I would suggest eating here. The ladies behind the counter helped me in my decision as to whether I want spinach on my pizza night, I told them about my experience with another local pizza place and their spinach pizza it was a bad experience. I explained that I was worried that it tasted like fish like the other place and asked me if it looked first. The lady was brought back in such a description of my previous experience with local pizza. She said it's fresh, but it's devastated in wood fired oven. I think we will try this new one. *We went back the day and got pizza. ONG was good!!!! We have the creamy garlic 4 cheese and pepperoni. Sooo good!!!

A nice little café in the middle of nowhere. Both interior and exterior seats. The service was pretty fast. You need to clean your own table. All we had (creamy tomato soup, green salad, roast beef sandwich and chili) were pretty good. Her bread was also excellent, beautifully paired with the soup. It has a good amount of parking.

On vacation in Talkeetna AK my husband and I discovered one of the very best bakeries we have ever been to. Each morning we walked there for great coffee and something sweet. Everything looked so good it was hard to decide. So, we tried something new each day. A large lemon blueberry muffin which was glazed and melted in our mouths, a very large blueberry scone, a frosted slice of espresso cake, large cookies and the best apple berry crisp, warmed and served with whipped cream that we ever had. I told them about that particular delight! I can't wait for tomorrow morning to see what we'll try. Maybe the chocolate peanut butter bar, the blueberry rhubarb bar, the dark chocolate brownies or one of the new bakery treats they put out each day. Is your mouth watering yet? Please stop by this bakery if you're ever up this way in Alaska. You won't be disappointed!
