Whitney Peak Hotel, LLC - Reno

This place has excellent fresh food, in a great atmosphere , with friendly and welcoming services. Happy hour from 4 to 6pm was great with (half priced drinks and appetizers), with nice selection of appetizers and draft beers. The mushroom risotto wasspectacular. Recommended if staying at the hotel.

Stopped by for some happy hours drinks and appetizers. Food and drinks good. We were sad the bruschetta wasn?t ready yet and they said it would take an hour to get it.

I was staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for a training conference. The Whitney Cafe is on the first floor or the hotel so I decided to go check out their happy hour while we were there. There aren't a lot of food options for happy hour but the fewthings I tried were really good. The nachos were very tasty and the diner burger was really good as well. It was reallyconvenient being in the hotel but was good enough to stop in even if you aren't staying there.

I had fries. Over fried, greasy, small, gross. I had mussels and clams. They did not taste even remotely fresh. Very fishy and I thought I was gonna get sick from eating. And I ordered the chicken karage which was completely inedible. Tiny, over batteredgreasy nuggets with dry tough minuscule pieces of chicken inside. Makes me queasy just thinking about my meal there. I?d nevergive this place a second chance after that experience. Yuk.

I?ve been here for a drag brunch and for dinner on a random Wednesday. The service, food, and drinks are always on point! Worth checking out their happy hour!
