Oxpow Bistro Cafe - Reno

TERRIBLE SERVICE. We sat there 15mins and no one talked to us, looked at us or acknowledged us. We had asked for a manager and this person had come back and said she was busy right now. Finally another server working the other side helped us and he was very nice. Great food and terrible service!!

Delicious food, attentitve staff. Food was both high quality and good quantities. Cozy atmosphere with small family owned restaurant vibes.

Food was ok, nothing special. The presentation was very nice, but the overall taste of the food was just ok. Not bad, but not amazing. We were greeted quickly, but it was basically empty. We sat for a while at the end waiting for our check and finally had to ask for it, again it was basically empty. I also had to get up and grab my own to go boxes. Paid 80$ for 2 adults and 2 kids which was a little ridiculous for breakfast. Almost 5$ for black coffee? Over 4$ for hot chocolate that the kids didn’t like because there wasn’t much chocolate in it. Overall just an ok place with very high prices.

Stopped here for breakfast, one of the busy days in Reno. There was a 30 mins wait to get the table. Restaurant has seating both inside and outside. We ordered Veggie Omllettes, Hashbrowns and toast, also French toast. Service was good, Food was very tasty. Great place for breakfast.Vegetarian options: There are several veg options.Parking: No problem finding parking even though place was busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheel chair acccessible, there is outside seating available too

What a fabulous discovery Gloria’s was for my wife and I traveling through Reno. The food was so delicious and the friendly atmosphere was so enjoyable we ate breakfast there three days in a row.I highly recommend this hidden gem.
