Old Southwest Social House - Reno

Had a very good Potato Leek soup and a very average burger.

My parents have been there but not me. I want to go there so I can try the food. I mean I have been there once it's not good.

Went here tonight, I believe it's under new management. We had a party of 4, everyone's food was excellent. The service was great too. Very good experience, overall. Great beer selection too.

Very busy, kinda loud. Service was slow because they were very busy.

Stopped in for breakfast, had the California Avenue Eggs Benedict, eggs were poachedperfectly and sat atop thinly sliced turkey and ample bacon. a homemade Hollandaise sauce fresh pesto and a slice of Avacado as a crowning glory. Wow the taste was spectacular and the Hollandaise is in a class by itself. Highly suggest giving this a try, especially before it Is discovered by everyone else in NW Reno.Pat Sponsler
