Kauboi Izakaya - Reno

I will come from out of town just for the squid. I love their onigiri, too!I wish they did take out or took reservations but because they don't, they can actually manage to serve lots more people every night. They are usually busy most days I go for dinner.

The food is excellent. The server made me uncomfortable, trying to push a 4 to 5 option course, both times I was there. The place itself has some interesting decor. Overall a nice placeFood: 5/5

This was an all around great experience! I don't think I could find a bad thing to say if I tried. Staff was super friendly and attentive, water was never empty, food came out fast. And the food was just fantastic, everything we tried was great and so full of flavor. The croquette mushrooms really stood out, I will probably get those any time I go, but I want to try everything on the menu now.

The food here is amazing. I liked every single thing I tried and I got like 8 things. However, it is definitely over priced for tapas. The music is too loud. I've seen enough people complain about it, so it would be nice if the owners took notice and decreased the volume slightly. The Drinks were really good. I tried to bring some friends here at 9:20pm on a Saturday, didn't realize they closed at 10pm, they didn't seat us, which is fine, but this place really needs to be open later.
