We absolutely love Mateo Rafael! The staff is incredibly kind, and the food is outstanding. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to eat.

Mateo, our chef, was fantastic! He was funny and had a great sense of humor.

If you plan to visit this restaurant for a special event, you might have a good time. However, the overall experience can vary significantly depending on the skill level of the chef overseeing your meal. While the teppanyaki food is quite tasty, the fact that all the ingredients are prepared with the same sauce can make the meal feel repetitive. I found that I didn’t have a strong impression of the food, largely due to the chef's lack of experience. Throughout the meal, the dishes were cooked using a consistent combination of soy sauce, butter, garlic, and pepper, which limited the variety. With all this in mind, you may want to weigh your options before deciding to visit.

We love coming here since the food and service is amazing. But make sure you make a reservation ahead of time and arrive on time for your reservation.

Duncan and Kirsten were amazing! Came here for my partners birthday and we had the best service and time. The server was very nice and timely with getting our drinks. Duncan the chef was hilarious and made the whole meal a great time. We loved our time and can not wait to come back. Thank you two for creating a great atmosphere for dinner.
