Canter's Delicatessen - Reno

I absolutely love this place! It’s a must-visit whenever you see the sign in the area. The Jersey City sandwich is a standout!

This place was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive. If you're visiting Reno, this is the spot to go for a delicious meal. They also have a wide selection of desserts. We particularly enjoyed the large disc cheesecake, and the chef even added some extra pickles, which was a nice touch! It was my favorite part!

I had the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had! I saw a picture of it and told the lovely young lady who was serving me, "I want a sandwich exactly like that." I wasn't disappointed at all. I will definitely be back!

Most awesome Turkey club sandwich I've ever had everything is so good here, chef was very very nice and gave me extra pickles. Cashier Cheryl was very good at pouring a beer. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, since we shared the sandwich.

If you are on foot downtown, you could do a lot worse than Canter's Deli. My favorite coleslaw is from here though I will warn you it is not like any other I've had (a little kick to it). Tastey sandwiches and slices of cakes, too. Great for a quick sit down lunch. If it had a view or easier parking, it would be 5 stars service and food are very good.
