Cafe des Bains - Rennes

We had a business dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant is located in the small street in the center, menu they are going to bring on a big black board written in white. It's in French but they explain you what is what. The food was really tasty, the service was nice and really taking care. They are shy to say they speak English, but they do. Worth of visit.

We just had coffee there but the waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere typical of a French bistro in the middle of downtown Rennes!

Chanced upon this restaurant, without a booking, it was late, 10pm however they accommodated us. We ordered three starters and a main course and then a cheese dish also the cafe gourmand. Everything we received was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The choice of fish for the main was finished however they offered a more expensive fish dish at the same price. The wine menu was varied we chose a lovely red from Languedoc which went down very well. The value was amazing. Sorry to be leaving Rennes tomorrow would love to come back and experience it again! Well done to the chef and team it's a 10 from us!

An original, top quality menu for an affordable price. Lovely staff and decor. Would definitely go back.

From the service, to the decors, to the menus of a good relationship/quality, an original quality cuisine, one can only invite the epicureans to stop there. When we go to the reindeer, this place will be our mandatory stop.
