Contribuiți la feedbackI already knew this restaurant, but I was never there. Last night, I had dinner with my mom and some of her colleagues. The only negative note of this place is its location. The villages of Rende are certainly suggestive, but not practical to reach with the car. For the rest, I can only dispense praises for this place. We ate divinely: we were brought a reinforced appetizer of really excellent quality. The octopus of sea salad was very fresh, idem for squid frying. Potato tortino with pistachio was very particular and cheeses with excellent figs jam. These were just some of the offered courses to start. Passing to the first, recommended by the chef, spaghetti with clams and shrimps were fresh and tasty. Cooking in the clam broth made the dish simple but good. You have to say, however, that the fusilli with shrimp, out of pumpkin and Parmesan cream were a span above. The combination of elements has succeeded in perfection, creating sophisticated and unforgettable flavors. We ordered, then, a taste of fillet, served with medium cooking, tending to the blood. For some, this could be a problem, but, for my taste, only this cooking allows to understand the real quality of the meat that was really exquisite, tender and salty at the right point. Finally, we ordered some tiramisu and a mousse to the mistress, both very good. The staff was kind, patient and attentive to meet our every request. Prices are proportional to the quality of the dishes presented. Overall, I strongly recommend this restaurant.
I had been a few years ago to the old location it was much easier to get to destination , now there will be a nice terrace but to find you I had to ask another restaurant .. to park near I risked to crawl my car because of the porches, the food always excellent products chosen with care and fresh.
The quality of eating is really good. Normal portions. Truffle cheese to try, wine not of excellent quality ke made it lose a lot to dinner.
I went on January 1, 2016 to lunch with two dear friends, the restaurant is located in the town of Rende (Historical Center), to get there you have to take a small walk in the ancient village of Rende. As soon as you arrive you enter this small room consisting of about 40 seats divided into two rooms one large and one small, immediately you can perceive the warmth of the staff that with a lot of elegance made us sit at the table. The food is very delicious and plentiful service very professional and the price is right according to what each of us has ordered. I propose this place for all couples or groups who want to take a walk in one of the most beautiful villages of Calabria (obviously to my modest Judgement). Ah I forgot there is a beautiful view outside the premises.
The key element is the passion for research, which characterizes Francis' cuisine. Innovating in tradition is the right way, which, safeguarding the values and characteristics of the place, compares with the new trends, without ever exaggerating. Over time, Capriccio has innovative both in the location and in the kitchen. Today it deserves excellence.
