Unfortunately, we have to make significant changes to our previous recession that we announced a year ago. It is now known that there is a staff shortage in the catering industry. But why is the staff overwhelmed when there are 0 tables occupied outside and only 2 tables each occupied by 2 people inside? We were able to find out: 3 people at the counter are significantly more important to the waitress than (new guests) at the table. Left after about 15 minutes without ordering. Apparently guests only have meaning there when they are standing at the counter. But there was no space due to the 3 people standing there. It's really a shame for what was actually a nice restaurant a year ago and also a shame for the city of Lennep. That's not how you advertise. Luckily, there is a competition there that also considers new guests as paying customers. We now prefer the restaurants “König von Preußen”, “Nobis Bar”, “Zum Kirchenwirt” or “Josef”. It's funny, there are now significantly more guests in these places than in the Kaffeeklatsch. What the cause of it might be? Great restaurant with friendly service, small snacks, burgers, waffles, cakes, ice cream and a cocktail menu in an interesting city. You feel like you're on vacation. If the beer line for the country beer, which hasn't been working for months, were repaired, it would be even better for us. Actually complaints on a high level, but this special beer selection is extremely suitable for the region. Our recommendation would be to either repair it or remove it from the drinks menu. We'd still like to come!

We 've been to the Kaffeeklatsch several times on the weekend. With one exception, it 's always the same: overwhelmed staff, it feels like half of the drinks or dishes offered on the menu are unfortunately currently out , the kitchen cannot be staffed due to a lack of staff , which is why the sandwiches we ordered could Unfortunately it couldn 't be brought (by the way, the next table had baguette a good half hour later? ? it all takes a very, very long time. We probably won 't go there again. It 's a shame because the location is great.

I was just outside and just had a drink. Service was friendly, the location is great. I can't judge more. The tables were sad. The menu is just a piece of paper flying around. Simply a great flower, herb pot on the table, card underneath, it already looks prettier and the problem is solved. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
