Cafe Rouge Reigate

After he had previously looked after the restaurant, we wanted to sit at a certain place, as we knew within half an hour that it will be loud and our old friend would find it hard to hear us. Unfortunately, this happened, and our experience was ruined. we also had to book online for 1245 and at 1220 we were there immediately, as there were only three people sitting all over the inner. we decided to eat almost anywhere else, as we didn't want to wait until 1245, there were clearly seats available, but not after the website that felt a little inconspicuous. eating was good as always and the personal service worthy. thank you.

Unfortunately, the restaurant appeared to be old and outdated. A table was left uncleared and the two employees seemed to be going through the motions. The dining experience was generally disappointing. The calamari appetizer was tasty, but the main dishes were chewy and the sauce lacked flavor, other than just being salty. The burger was overwhelmed with ketchup and the bun was possibly stale. The restaurant has a great location in the city but could benefit from some renewed enthusiasm and ambition. Based on our experience, it cannot be recommended without some major changes.

All four of us really enjoyed our eating. the service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. eating came immediately. I couldn't blame.

We received excellent service and the food was well worth the price. We definitely plan on returning.

We know Cafe Rouge in Reigate very well and dine there frequently. We were looking ofrward to trying the new menu and found the scallops starter small and over cooked. The prawn starter, which has always been a favourite with my wife and most inferior. The prawns were almost impossible to peell we gathered that other guests had a similar experience. The flavour was poor with a lack of gravy'. I was not impressed with the new new burger range but the my wife found the Duck Confite as good as ever.. The staff were as always most pleasent but were obviously under pressure with too few people for the task in hand.
