Grotto Pizza - REHOBOTH BEACH

Pizza was good. Our daughter had it two days in a row. Not as good as our pizza back home but we'll likely get it again on our next visit to Rehoboth.

Zero stars. Ugh. I went with a group of people who swore up and down it was their family's favorite thing ever an institution, the mecca, the gold standard of pizza, bar none. YUCK. I felt like I was back in the grade school cafeteria. Sweet pizza sauce, gooey cheese, bland bland bland. Wish I could have at least had a beer or something with it, maybe after a couple it would have tasted ok. Hard pass. How are there so many of these in town???

I'm a little torn because the pizza wasn't bad but I've had lots of better pizza. Also, especially here, there are many other places I'd prefer to go before this place. The service was fine and the place appeared clean.

There were too many restaurants on the Rehobeth Boardwalk. We picked this place because of the huge outdoor patio. Also, I need to hop on the Grotto Pizza bandwagon. I've been to Rehobeth many times but haven't had their pizza before. I tried the cheese pizza and it's good pizza. The crust is firm and the tomato sauce is sweet. We had a couple of picky kids in tow and they eat that pizza. And mac cheese....which I think came from a box? For $4.99...not worth it in my books. But in their book, it's amazing. One star down because service was subpar. The server forgot to bring us water until we reminded her in the very end when the kids were getting thirsty. They also got our bill mixed up with another family's. Not too important but the female bathroom is gross. Just gross. But I am a fan of the pizza.

We sat at the bar which was quite narrow but it's nice to sit and grab a drink. Also pizza! It's my first time trying Grotto Pizza and I was surprised to find the pizza not being greasy or oily. We ordered a cheese pizza with mushrooms and it was great. Not the greatest pizza in the world but I wouldn't mind grabbing it again. You might have a ocean breeze coming in too.
