Big Fish Seafood Market

Today I picked up some fresh clams and a half dozen steamed crabs from the Big Fish Seafood Market in Rehoboth. The steamed crabs were on the small side but they were heavy. When I opened them up to eat them, the crab meat was very soft with a mashed potato consistency. I called the restaurant to ask if they were safe to eat and they said yes. I asked why the crab meat was so soft and mushy and they said, “the crabs should be fine to eat.” That was their response. Unthinkable that such a popular seafood house doesn’t know how to steam crabs and made no attempt to correct the situation with the customer. I will not order steamed crabs from them again and will take a long pause before taking friends there to eat again.
