Contribuiți la feedbackAfter many unforgettable visits in the course of the years, we. returned with friends in this restaurant on Sunday evening 28 august to mark the last night of a beautiful week in the normandie. we chose a 20e bottle loire red that was delicious. the filled clam starter. was good. everything else ranged from below average to poor. sauces were heavy and thought-out; the fish moderately; the vegetables presented as compressed, congealed blocks; the fresh, balanced fruit desserts, which we had before, replaced by pre-prepared, oversweet concoctions more synthetic in taste than almost anything available from a standard terrace. the menu could not offer dessert wine and the waitress had no idea what such a wine could be. the dining room was almost empty in the evening, but still the service seemed inadequate. we owe the young waitresses no debt to an experience that seemed unmanaged, amateurish, careless and expensive from the beginning. for this costly disappointment we have not expected a feeling of apology or explanation. next time, we will admire the end of a public bank.
I had already been happy to eat here since I had fed to the restaurant while the owners were in the free age before. the restaurant is, as many have said, is well appointed clean, neat and generally with a very good feeling. it also enjoys a wonderful location. but on the day we visited the restaurant was badly underoccupied with people who rush in a slightly fawltyesque art and wisely. the kitchen is not underused, but produced food that is very poorly cooked. the menu I was over complicated and too long, but this does not explain the persistence of the cook when overcooking the whole meat. for the first time in a very long time I sent callbs leber back...think old boots. it was replaced by a thin disc which, as it was not overcooked, revealed its extended life in a refrigerator. the lady manager offered no excuse: in fact no comment was made at all, so you can only assume that this was the norm. it is also the first time that I experienced beignets that could have been wrong for squash balls. they were in a lot for so long the lobster sauce they were eaten with the stuffing on the edges! combine this experience with a skyberry sauce, for the licker, with pips in the thickened maisflour, beautiful. no happy experience. we have the sancerre, that was, 20e for a half bottle, but hey, the whole experience has stopped us to book a weekend retreat there, so we have saved ourselves a lot. not much care.
Personnel très agréable, une carte de produits locaux. Les moules (marinières et les farcies) en entrée sont délicieuses, nous avons pris un lieu noir en sauce parfaitement cuit, avec des petits gratins en accompagnement.Le cadre vaut vraiment la peine, mettez un pull et manger sur la terrasse pour profiter de la vue sur la mer, voire le soir du coucher de soleil.
Je confirme les différents avispas très bon, médiocre, désuet eviter ce restaurant seul la vue reste sympa
Nous sommes allés à 7 un dimanche midi, la serveuse nous a demandé nos plats, donc nous avons pris des menus mais dans celui ci il y avait une viande nous avons posé des questions sur celle-ci, mais la serveuse, ne savait rien, l'entrecôte, ne ressemble pas du tout, c'est vraiment tout petit, et pour le menu enfant les steacks hachés étaient tout sec, donc réchauffés plusieurs fois. Le jambon au cidre les moules et les flans de légumes étaient bon. Passons au dessert, on commande 2 gâteaux caramel beurre salé, et on nous ramène un autre parfum, changement sans nous prévenir et nous proposer autre chose, pareil pour les boules de glace, au lieu de vanille et fruits de la passion ce fût vanille fraise, heureusement que le petit aimait ça!!!! En ce qui concerne la salade de fruits, on demande si c'est "maison", on nous répond que oui, et bien c'était, pomme poire et banane, dommage de ne pas avoir mis plus de fruit, surtout en cette saison. Les serveurs étaient bien sympathiques, mais vraiment à côté, et sont un peu surpris lorsqu'on leur pose des questions.
