Pepy's Taverna - REGGIO DI CALABRIA

I had dinner here on a recent overnight stay in Reggio di Calabria. The service was excellent and my server spoke english as my italian is still a work in progress. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable.

Pepy's is the place to taste authentic southern Italian pizza. We had the Bufalino pizza and bufalina calzone made with mozzarella cheese from buffalo milk. We also had a pizza made from mozzarella cheese from cow milk to see the difference. The difference is amazing we definitely prefer the buffalo milk variety. Classic bruschettas are great appetizers to order here. The prices are very low and the place clean, and family oriented. The waitresses speak English.
