Alana's Cafe - Redwood City

Whenever I'm in the mood for brunch, I think of Alana's firstThe scrambles are always good and the roasted potatoes are the best I've found.

This is our go to brunch spot on Saturday mornings! The service is excellent, we're regulars so they bring our coffee order now without even having to ask

This place is decent but my boyfriend and I didn't think it it was super spectacularI tried the scone and thought it was okay.

Really really cute spot!! It's basically a cozy, semi-Victorian house that has been turned into a restaurant, so you may be seating in side rooms, or the porch if you'd like to be outdoors. Only con was that while our food came quickly the sausage was cold--but the breakfast was otherwise good! Also worth noting: the bread options for scrambles include scones or coffee cake (not just toast), which was a game changer for me!

It's an old Victorian home turned restaurant. The rooms are cozy. Staff are friendly and attentive. It can be busy on the weekends but the front yard is a nice place to hang out. Ordered hot chocolate, Farmer's garden with coffee cake and French toast. The hot chocolate was tasty. One of the poached eggs on the Farmer's garden was a little over cooked but the potatoes were well seasoned. The coffee cake was a little dry. The French toast came with the cutest little jar of syrup. Overall a good breakfast experience.
