Portside Cafe - Redondo Beach

The food was good! The fried shrimp were tasty, the clam chowder bowl was huge and tasted really good, and the onion rings were well made! Some other reviews of this place said it was slow but we got our food pretty fast and the service was good! We were there on a Saturday night and it was really busy but we only waited maybe 10 minutes. Overall a really good place to eat and visit! Head across the street for a tasty churro too!

Sure it is a more basic place but if you can look past that they got some great tasting food. It is nice for people watching and you can hear the live music from right across. I had the Cajun Shrimp plate. It is very well seasoned, perfectly cooked and plenty of food. It comes with tasty garlic bread and the large tap beer was the Biggest I have ever received. Literally filled to the brim! (I already drank some in the picture). Left very happy

I hadn't been here for a year and a half. Their clam chowder got more tasty. I recommend the bread bowl. Weekends are super busy but weekdays you should have faster service.

Can be a little crowded, and have to wait a while for your food, but worth the wait.

Average food for selection taste. Open seating is nice to enjoy the beach pier atmosphere. Service was poor due to a missed order with no apology snippy staff.
