Delicious (and large) pieces of cod, crunchy chips and mushy peas at a reasonable price!!!! Best fish and chips I have eaten in a long, long time.

Had my brother over from Perth and we were reminiscing about the great fish and chips we enjoyed on the coast at the Bellarine peninsula in Victoria in the 1960's. We took a chance and ordered the Seafood Basket for 2, and were not disappointed.Excellent sized serve - all cooked right on. Even the Calamari was cooked to perfection. Even though they were reasonably busy, service was quick, and the young lady was able to find all her customers sitting at the outside tables with having to use numbers or pineapples stuck on a stick. Well done!Great atmosphere and view towards the pier topped off a great meal.

Visited Yabbey Road having read the reviews on tripadvisor and this is one of those occasions where it really did live up to what we had read about. We ate on a Saturday lunch time and were advised right away that it would be a half hour wait for food. Am glad we waited. These were the best fish and chips I've had in Australia in 10 years. The sausage, chips and gravy went down well as did the curry sauce and mushy peas. Fantastic value too - 4 meals with drinks for less than $50 and with a great view of the water. Perfect for any fellow Brits who want a taste of 'home'.

Great little restaurant/take away with lots of menu choices looking out over the water towards Moreton Island. Mainly seafood and burgers but a couple of other tempting options like Pea Fritter Delight, The Great British Sausage and Fried Chicken. Yummy chips and all menu choices cooked to order. Very reasonable prices and good size serves.
