Otto - Redbridge

I recently dined at Otto Restaurant. The staff was exceptional and very friendly, the food was of top-notch quality and I had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant.

Visited this restaurant many times and food has always been delicious and staff are lovely. My partner and I went for lunch yesterday and I ordered something I’ve never had before, a lamb stew. Asked the waiter if it was slow cooked and tender, he checked with the chef and he confirmed that it was. The reality was that the veg and meat were hard, the sauce watery and it tasted as if chilli powder had been thrown in and not cooked out. I gave t back to the waiter (who was lovely) then the manager came out and said that the food was good, I disagreed then he then left the table. We decided to order dessert as didn’t want to make an issue of the fact my meal was disappointing. The manager then came back out and started being very aggressive and said my dish was perfect to which I disagreed again, offered to take 30% off my dish to which I refused, it was all very uncomfortable, I said we’d visited many time before and never had a problem, we felt very embarrassed as other diners were in the restaurant. I don’t normally write reviews and I wouldn’t have today but felt I was treated badly by the manager .

I went to the restaurant to meet a friend of mine and have lunch. The food was really delicious and Matty, the waiter was super friendly. I felt immediately at home. Love the bar and the decoration as well. Can't wait to return!

Always amazing service and quality of food, a Wanstead staple for many years. I recommend the healthy meal!

Super food, attentive staff in a relaxed ambience and at sensible prices. I’ve been coming here for 8 or 9 years and it is consistently excellent. It’s my go-to in E11 to sit by the window and watch the world go by.
