Yesterday's Diner - RED RIVER

The chicken fried steak was freshly pounded when we ordered it, and it was absolutely delicious! The Christmas Huevos Rancheros (Yosemite Sam) were also fantastic. The staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was filled with nostalgia!

This diner is fantastic; it has a unique theme that I believe every restaurant should embrace. We didn’t notice the sign indicating we needed to place our orders first, so we ended up sitting there for a while like fools. The server didn’t come over to help us either, but we eventually figured it out and placed our orders. The food was quite good—I ordered the Yosemite Sam skillet, and I really enjoyed it. I also noticed there were pops available in the small lobby beyond the diner, which really tempted me!

The service was excellent, even though the restaurant was busy and short-staffed! The Reuben Philly was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The beer-battered fries were also delicious. We capped off our meal with some fantastic ice cream!

Great food and friendly staff! Neat little Cafe for sure!

Breakfast was delicious. The place was very busy when we got there, but service was still good. Due to social distancing guidelines, big parties coming to eat might have to wait longer to be seated due to limited tables available.
