Astha - Red Deer

This is the best Indian restaurant in red deer by far. everything here is so delicious and the atmosphere is so relaxing. definitiw one must be for all lovers of Indian food!

This is a great Indian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

We used to visit Astha twice a month, but with the kids, it's become a bit challenging to go out as often. So now we just order in for special occasions! We have never been disappointed with our meals. Rama, the chef, is truly exceptional and one of the most talented chefs I’ve ever met. He worked in a famous restaurant in my hometown in India during the 90s, but I had no idea he was the mastermind behind such delicious dishes! By the way, I met him personally in Red Deer, and it was a delight to discover his impressive background. I haven't found an authentic East Indian restaurant like Astha in Calgary, and only a few in Edmonton can even come close to its quality.

I love eating. the service is a bit dry, but eating it makes it. fair prices. the only thing I wished is that the recipes would be the same for each order. the vegetarian dishes are never the same. one day they have nuts and brokkoli and in the following week they have little mais, no nuts and rusties. good thing always good: no, I guess there's something I wish. resistance. if they say they are open until 9 o'clock then please open. it's a hit and miss. You never know when they're open. one day they are and the next week they are not.

BEST PLACE EVER!! My boyfriend and I spend every occasion eating here because the food is amazing, staff is so nice, and the vibe is so welcoming and great! Prices are high but its worth every penny. Cried real tears when i found out its closed!!
