Contribuiți la feedbackThe risotto balls were fantastic and gave me some hope, but that quickly faded when our pasta dishes arrived. After just three bites of my pasta, which tasted like bland broth, I pushed it aside. My wife also faced the same issue with her pasta, which was swimming in what was supposed to be a white wine sauce but tasted more like plain chicken broth. Our waiter was polite, but he didn’t seem concerned when we didn’t enjoy our meals. It appeared that he was accustomed to customers returning their dishes, as I saw several people send their plates back. We even noticed other diners behind the scenes returning meals or canceling orders due to dissatisfaction. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but it seems poorly managed. The entire staff appeared disoriented and lacked proper support. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for a fifth visit.
Very disappointing. the inner felt like a cave, dark and obsolete. service ridiculously slow and inattentive. pizza was terrible. it should be removed from the menu as it is not representative for nj pizza.
Was there in the april and had a wonderful experience. therefore we returned with a table of 5. while eating was good the attitude of the hostess (owners? that has been sorrowed. I hope not) of the minute we arrived was terrible. waited for almost 10 minutes to sit for our reservation when she sat over a work plan with a worker who was busy watching his phone and talking to her about his coming week. finally came a server and sat us. when we left the light through the vestibule exit, it was outside and it was very dark. we asked her if she could turn on it (my 89-year-old mother, together with the rest of our party, was difficult to see) and until she thought, we had used our phones to illuminate the way out. unnecessary to say we will not come back or recommend. very disappointed and surprised as we wanted to support this local restaurant especially during this time.
Mediocre restaurant. From food to service, there was not one thing I can say good about this restaurant.
We haven't visited in years, and I forgot how much I was missing! The polenta appetizer and the stuffed escarole were both fantastic. Our main courses—veal shank and my husband's squid ink linguine—were amazing. We will definitely be returning! The only downside was the high noise level, likely due to the tiled walls and floors. Overall, it was the best meal we've had in quite some time!
