Front Street Trattoria - Red Bank

I have been eating here for the last 20 years, each and every meal has been consistently delightful. The ownership has been committed to serving great creative meals, with a warm and friendly greeting. The homemade bread sticks are a must but are to be ordered in advance. Pizza.pasta,or fish. Yummy. Be prepared to wait to be seated. But worthwhile. Cheers

Lovely experience for fathers birthday. We ended up having a crazy busy Saturday and needed to find a nice place for his birthday, I gave Front Street a call and they were able to give us a table the same day later that evening. Upon arrival we noticed it was packed, but they it was nice to see they had a table reserved for us. We ordered a pizza immediately upon sitting so we could have it ASAP as our appetizer and saw it takes 15-20 minutes to make. Our server was pleasant and provided some insight about their offerings. We placed the rest of our food and requested some bread for the table (note: the bread is free, but you have to request it). Overall the pizza was great (tomatillo poblano pizza) and our entrees were equally tasty (eggplant parm, chicken trattoria, salmon special, and side of eggplant meatballs). The eggplant meatballs were fantastic, I would order those again in a heartbeat along with the pizza. The other two were decent, more just over cooked for our personal taste. Also don’t skip dessert, their ricotta cheesecake is fresh and light. Overall, I’d definitely go back. Service is good, they are attentive. The ambiance is a little loud and active, which is nice for a semi casual event like we had. A few tips: the entrance is in the back, no you’re not crazy for thinking it is the pizza pick up spot. They also have a parking lot near by and you only have to pay 9-6pm or something. Very convenient if you are driving in!

Delicious food and excellent service! New restaurants come and go in Red Bank, but Front Street Trattoria is a mainstay and always delivers fresh, innovative food and a warm, inviting dining experience. I love that their menu offers unique offerings and not just the typical standard Italian fare. And the pizzas are amazing!!! It's also a great place to take friends and family, and if you have to wait to get a table, it's definitely worth the wait! And if you don't feel like dining out, you can always order take out and enjoy the best food around in the comfort of your home!

Every time I've been here, I've had not only an amazing meal, but a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is very friendly and kind. Definitely some of the best pizza I've ever had.
