Antica Osteria Del Vastato - RECCO

After reading the menu at ristorante Da o Vittorio, we mentioned that it was a bit out of our budget. Rather than being sent away, we were lead downstairs to Antica Osteria del Vastato which is a little more casual but food is prepared from the same kitchen at much more affordable rates. The food was so good that we found ourselves returning night after night. On Thanksgiving we could not locate any restaurants in Recco who served turkey. Earlier in the day we had found a huge leg at one of the local supermarkets. When we inquired if they could prepared it if provided, they enthusiastically responded Si! . We had one of the best Thanksgiving meals ever, including roast turkey and potatoes, and pumpkin risotto.

Very basic but clean premises; courteous and efficient staff. Price ratio of the courses in the right menu. I suggest you go there, you will have a nice evening:

We booked in the victorious tavern, but we had lunch in the restaurant. the menu was that of the tavern, a little less than that of the restaurant, but obviously the quality is the same. The result was however excellent.
