Contribuiți la feedbackMeat cooked to perfection selected from their own butcher’s shop. We enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch at this small restaurant run by a husband and wife team. The portions are large so perhaps share a starter, Mirko recommended the flat bread with leaf vegetables and soft salami (lots of garlic) as our starter which was tasty and plentiful. My partner had a fillet which was huge, beautifully cooked and dressed with a gorgonzola sauce and walnuts. My tagliata was delicious; a sliced steak served with rocket, sweet cherry tomatoes and slices of Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately we were too full to try the deserts but will return as we saw some very nice ones arriving on the other tables. It is recommended to make a booking as we saw a number of disappointed people being turned away who arrived on spec. The seating area is simple with white tables and chairs in a wooden building that could be described as a covered porch. The surroundings really reflect the simplicity of the food which is good quality and unpretentious. They have a wide selection of wines but the house wine compliments the beef very nicely.
This restaurant offers a little bit different food experience. This is a real butcher's shop the meat and other products are displayed around the inside tables and the wine list is on the wall a row of bottles of wines you can choose from (the house wine is available also by glass) and you can make your shopping after. There is an outside terrace with a sea at distance but the real thing is inside. Book your table in advance there are only few tables available inside. You can choose from the menu or Mirko will tell you what is available just that day. The cold cuts and cheese as our antipasti had a really good quality especially the salami seasoned with the Verdicchio wine. But we all agreed that the Trofie pasta with leak, fennel (finocchio selvatico), pumpkin and ciausculo (a sausage tipical in the region of Le Marche) was the best. Our forks were ready and quick when my husband turned his head away. The pasta was cooked in to the perfection and the flavors amazing. All the delicious food was cooked by Mirko's wife. Absolutely worth of visit not for vegetarians though.

Locale molto carino fuori dalle mura di Recanati. Ottimo gli antipasti, come i primi, la carne ed i dolci. Consiglio di prenotare.
