... visited the mod on Saturday afternoon for a beer and some food. Good traditional pub. Managed to get a table without booking luckily. The staff was really great. Generally a really good atmosphere. Impressed with the food. I had the Calamari for the starter, then the stirring fried rice with chicken and prawn. decent portions and I thought the food was good. I had to crash a birthday party around the side area to get to the toilets at one point, but it was possible to find out who the birthday party was and wished them a happy birthday from a totally random stranger. Much to every pleasure. Yes great staff. I'll go back and recommend the moderator. Update: Back again for Sunday pint with friends. Nice relaxed mood. Tip: For the parking you are looking for the Crown Plaza Hotel parking, there are then 2 pay and display parking by the river (left from the hotel). 2 hours free parking.

Really nice food here and has both Thai food and traditional pub food, but it is restaurant quality. The next parking is next to the hotel, by the river are the first two hours free when you get a ticket. Has exterior seats (covered) around the back of the pub as well as front street seats, and also interior seats.

When entering the mod is the first thing to notice is the warm welcome and reception. The pub is clean and comfortably furnished with well-split tables. The menu is extensive and offers Thai and other regular meals such as risotto and fish and chips. There was also a shorter two-course lunchtime menu with a good selection. We were a party of four: one with fish and chips and three for Thai. The lentil and eggplant cure was delicious. I recommend this pub restaurant.

The food is absolutely fantastic. A wide selection of choices and everything was delicious. They also have amazing drinks, so much choice and amazing cocktails. The staff is also very friendly. Come on!

Absolutely Stunning! The staff are happy friendly, the beer is good, the atmosphere is great, the beer garden is beautiful the food is absolutely exceptional! The ladies that serve are lovely the head chef is also happy friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!
