The Cunning Man - Reading

So helpful with navigating options. I’ve been a few times and have had steak, gammon, cheesy mushrooms and curry! My waitress was also gluten free and nothing was too much trouble.

The gluten free menu is misleading, it doesn’t include a salad because of the crutons or any burgers or sandwiches because of the buns/bread. My waitress had celiac disease and she guided me through the options. I had an unbreaded chicken schnitzel and fries. The blueberry house soda is unbelievably good. They have a dedicated fryer.

Limited but excellent menu with very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful setting as well.

I had an unbreaded chicken carving and pommes. The Blaubeerhaus-Soda is incredibly good. You have your own frit.
