Shapla Tandoori - Reading

I decided to give this restaurant another chance after receiving meat samosas instead of vegetable the first time. Unfortunately, the same mistake happened again with a vegetable curry labeled on the box but containing chicken instead. This has happened to me twice now, and once to my parents, making it three separate occasions where they have failed to deliver the correct order. It seems to be a consistent quality assurance issue with this business. I will not be dining here again.

I strongly advise against purchasing from this establishment. We received expired food that made us sick. Despite attempts to contact the restaurant, we were unable to resolve the issue. Please prioritize your safety and avoid buying from this place.

Avoid ordering from this restaurant at all costs! I placed an order online, received a confirmation email, and was told my food would arrive in 45 minutes. An hour and a half passed and still no dinner. When I called to inquire, I was told they never received my order and was asked to provide the details again. The manager eventually came on the phone and bluntly stated that they did have my order, but their internet was down so they couldn't see it. The food finally arrived 15 minutes later, cold and tasteless. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. A complete waste of money and extremely disappointed with the service.

Incredible food! The best sag paneer we've had in Reading and the lamb was so tender. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!

Ordered a meal via their own app (paid via PayPal) not Just Eat etc. Arrived within 40 minutes as stated, nice delivery man, free bottle of coke as order was over £30. Food was good would definitely order delivery from them again. I had a red mullet fish with spinach and mushrooms, good Chana Dhaal, lemon rice and breads. Not too oily and good flavours. Definitely one of the better Indian take away we’ve had in Reading!
