Marmaris Kebeb - Reading

I went there late last night to order some Kebab on the way back. Ordered some Doner meat and chips, asked if i could have the chips separatety as it usually gets too oily when put in same cointainer, the guy instead of saying yes/no, said it would cost me another £1 extra to do that in a very arrogant tone, which i could not understand, so i said no point as the meat and chips was already £7.50. That is way over priced. The rudeness of the chef was what struck me. I was a customer who was willing to spend his money, even though the price was too high, to be treated in a way that it felt like, my custom was being a burden for him was extraordinary. Will never go back there again. The Kebab was average at best, and portion was not worth £7.50 and that too without a drink.

We ordered from here this evening and although the chicken is tender, the portion size is very small. It says the chicken shish kebab comes with peppers and onions and we only recieved chicken and a tiny bit of lettuce.

Just literally eaten from here, two pieces of chicken and chips. Chicken was so dry seemed like it had been there fpr days. Expected more as I heard the owner had high standards. Not even fit for drunks Sorry

I attempted to order a pizza over the phone, but am told I need to make an order in person because my phone number is +1. Upon leaving my hotel to walk across the street to place my order that I wasn’t allowed to place via phone, I’m then refused service while the owner yells to me, “England only!” Technically, this seems like the worst move any competent business owner could possibly do given the fact that the year is 2019, but to all my fellow Americans out there who ever might consider this place I feel this story must be told. Good day.

Absolutely delicious pizza, very warm and welcoming staff and a free drink for our two kids offered as a total surprise to us at the point of handing over the food.
