Anthony's Trattoria - Reading

We visited for the first time and we’re already looking forward to returning! The restaurant has an older vibe, so don’t let the exterior or entryway deter you—it’s clean and has the charm of a classic hunting lodge. Once inside, the dining area is lovely, adorned with plenty of lights. The food was outstanding; our group of seven thoroughly enjoyed everything from chicken parmesan and lasagna to chicken Marsala, spaghetti, and lobster gnocchi. The clams casino were a delightful find, a dish you don’t see often these days. And the desserts were incredible—definitely try the crème brûlée and lemon cream. Overall, our experience was exceptional!

Had my brother 60th birthday party there and it was wonderful. The food was incredible with good-sized plates, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The private room was very nice, and the seating arrangement was well done, and no one had to squeeze in anywhere.

Stopped in for lunch with my son was able to get an appetizer entrée to split. Vegetarian options: Menu choices for vegan very accommodating to serve as requested. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to serve as requested.

Love it, and don't know why I don't go there more. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. A lot more if you eat seafood. Not much for the vegan.

Authentic Italian food. Large menu. Accommodating for bigger parties. Going back for sure.
