Silk Route: Chinese Cuisine

The ambience is good, and so is the food. They have me a Rs. 800 discount, so I have no reason to complain, except that the Hot and Sour soup had too much chicken meat. The location is excellent and this restaurant is nested among three other good restaurants. There is ample parking. All the restaurants/coffee shop in the vicinity deserve a visit. Bahria Phase 4 is coming up wonderfully, and this area is as good as any that I have seen in the US. Well done Bahria. I do not miss Islamabad anymore.

So, I went there with my friends and had prawns. They had Manchurian and egg fried rice. The prawns I had were very very good and I loved those. The quantity was not good but taste wise, really good. The ambience was good too. One thing, I didn't like was the fact that most things in the menu were not available at that moment. Maybe it was the day we went there. Not sure though. But, I liked the restaurant, the ambience and the taste and I would definitely go there again hoping they will serve their whole menu.

The ambience is not upto the mark. Entering the restaurant gives a typical stereotype effect. It surely needs a modern renovation. Apart from the ambience, the staff at Silk Route is very cordial and keeps customer's priority at top. The taste is okay neither bad neither good.

Probably one of the laziest staff I've ever seen. It took them 1 hour and 20 mins to cook up an order for 5 persons. Apart from this staff felt like it was their 1st day. The location and the overall ambiance was good but it's kind of pointless if you get your dinner after such a time. I would rate the food as 2.5/5 . Basing on the many Chinese restaurants I've been to in pindi Islamabad. Another thing, the quantity of the food in relation to the prices is just plain outrageous. Overall , my first and the last visit ever.

Had a first experience with Chinese cuisine and it sure filled my taste buds and spicy. environmental atmosphere and congenial service overall.
