Ravenel Fresh Seafood

We tried to enter the restaurant to eat, but we were hit with a terrible sewage smell. It felt like there was an open septic system nearby, or perhaps the fish was extremely spoiled. In either case, we simply couldn't bring ourselves to eat there, as it seemed like we would be consuming something contaminated.

This was the best seafood we experienced during our entire trip to South Carolina! The hospitality was unmatched, and there was such a heartwarming act of kindness. I highly recommend it!!!!!

The food was fantastic! It took me 40 minutes to get there from my house, but it was definitely worth the drive. I ordered shrimp, garlic crabs, and fish, and everything was delicious!

Nothing special about this place. You pull up and go in and you place your order to go. They don't have drinks or a restroom. It is strictly takeout. I had the fried flounder with french fries. It is a good place to hit if you're hungry.

Had to run an errand out to Ravenel and found this little place. Had the shrimp basket which was delicious. They don't have drinks or restrooms, so had to take dinner to go!
