Contribuiți la feedbackI love this restaurant. Whenever I'm in bangkok, I'll make a point to eat here. eating is conscious and shows real craftsmanship. tonight I had the stirring fried penang curry with huh. the part was huge, but I ended every last drop because it was so damn good. when I'm at home in California, I dream about coming back here. my only regret is not to share with a group of friends in bkk and try all fantastic decisions on the menu. the service is stellar and I have enjoyed my meal so. thanks hemlock!
I have eaten here 15 years ago and it is still one of the best restaurants in the opposite, offering a great selection of traditional and authentic dishes, inexpensive. also Thai people find the menu to be very unique. the place is charming and especially with art on the walls, a piano and a jazzy playlist. the owners are very friendly, attentive and intelligent. the miang kham is my favorite Thai court and they offer a few versions of it. there are also some vegan vegetarian pescatarian and gluten-free options. it is great for a solo eater, a few on a date or a small group. today the kitchen closes at 8 o'clock and the place closes at 9 o'clock, probably because of kovid. I hope to come back soon. I know I sound like I'm working here, but I'm just a very grateful one they can change my name and contact me.
Special Thai dishes w/relaxed atmosphere. we were looking for a quiet and tasty place to eat for our last night in Thailand, and we were not disappointed! the interieur is simple, but also unique with jazzier soft music and plants that grow out of the floor! I had a coconut shake made with fresh young cocose, so fresh and wonderful! the miang as an appetizer was heavenly and fun to make! the curry with the 9 sweet and garnel was also delicious! so beautiful to find such a jewel only a stone's throw from khao san road. we asked if the owner would make a cookbook, as it was just so much better than what we ate in our month in Thailand!
A very cute little place, with an extremely extensive menu that will make you dizzy. The service was on the slow side, a leisurely slow for a table of two as we were the last people to order, so I can imagine it being even slower for a bigger group or when it’s busier. They had a good amount of vegetarian options, and the food had a cosy homemade feel to it. Our favourite dish was the aubergine and basil. Very simple but very tasty!
This restaurant offers rare, authentic Thai dishes that are based on family recipes. The prices are reasonable, making it a good option for those looking to try traditional Thai cuisine. However, the taste was average and the service was very slow.
