Thai Thai - Rapid City

This is my favorite restaurant in Rapid City! The staff is always very friendly, and the food is served quickly. I've never had a meal here that wasn't exceptional! I live about an hour away, and there have been times when my husband and I have driven to Rapid City just to enjoy a date night here.

The main problem was with the owner who took our order. She had a really unfriendly demeanor and a scowl on her face the entire time. I asked for a spice tray as well, but had to remind her again before my food got cold. Unfortunately, one of the four spice containers was missing, and it was the one I wanted most. I knew they had it because I saw another table using it just before us. When I pointed this out, the owner argued that nothing was missing, despite the fact that it was clear one of the containers was empty, making us feel foolish in front of other customers. Later, a young girl brought out the missing spice without explanation. When it came time to pay, I requested to speak to the other owner. Both of them came over, but they seemed completely uninterested and just walked away. Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor service made for a very unsatisfactory dining experience.

The red and yellow curries were absolutely fantastic! Be sure to give the fried tofu a try as well!

The food was average, we didn't like the flavor.The beef noodle had spoiled beef.Wings were ok, too sweet for my taste but it came out hot and Krispy.The cheesy crab was a miss, sweet coconut didn't mix well with the cheese and crab.Sticky rice was hard, I'm not sure if it was left out or over cooked.The best dish was the Thai spicy noodle, it was delicious...highly recommendedOverall it was a decent experience, we didn't get water refills but they have bigs cups so we ended up sharing water. The bathroom was clean and the dinning area was fairly clean.It would have been at least a 4 star if it wasn't for the spoil beef.

The food was flavorful.. Well 3 out of the 4 dishes we had were . One of the dishes was a noodle dish and it was very rubbery and cold and we told the server that and she was very nasty about it and said we will make you something else but we are still going to charge you for the noodles you have, because we already used our ingredients and no other resolution of the situation was given . Not even let me take it and maybe war it up . Granted I know that probably not sanitary but at least there would have been an effort made to take care of the customer...
