Tally's Silver Spoon - Rapid City

My wife and I had dinner at Tally's. The food quality and service was very good. The restaurant is clean and appeared to be well managed. The prices were higher than average. Upon leaving the restaurant we were confronted by 2 very aggressive panhandlers demanding money. They followed us all the way to our car. I recommend the merchants and local government officials do something to improve the safety of the general public in downtown Rapid City. Do nothing and it will end up like Seattle or Portland OR.

Good food. Limited space. Good ambiance if you don't mind high noise levels. Only tried their breakfast menu which was pretty decent.

Fantastic meal dined there in mid September and we're still talking about the pasta dishes a month later. Yum! It was so dang delicious!! Wait staff (a dude in a kilt as the main player, but several others too) was the best we've ever had anywhere (and I am not one for hyperbole) very attentive yet so low key, it was like they magically tended to our every need but flew under our radar. We didn't really pay attention to the prices when ordering, since we were at the tail end of our vacation and in the vacay zone, and we were shocked when the bill came except it was only about 1/2 the price of what I had expected given how incredible the food service were sweet! Highly recommended!!

The food was great, the service was prompt and friendly. Everyone was working hard, and it showed. It is well worth the money. I got the duck, duck goose and it was great! I offer this tiny critique- the dish is missing something crispy- which I think could easily be solved by the sweet potatoes cut smaller and roasted or fried crispy. Anyway, we loved it! (I forgot to take a pic before I dug in so I took a picture of my bar neighbors food to show their lovely presentation!
