I visited the 445 for a karaoke night during the Christmas break and had a really disappointing experience. The karaoke host, a white man, repeatedly used the N-word six times during the event. This behavior understandably upset the crowd.
To my surprise, the 445 Martini Lounge had a limited number of martini glasses—only three in total! LOL But I'm coming back…
This is definitely one of the best hotel bars I've been to. The drink selection is impressive, the service is excellent, and the prices are surprisingly low—unlike most hotels that typically overcharge. This place attracts a nice blend of locals and out-of-town guests. There's a spacious bar area and a large outdoor patio, making it perfect for after-work drinks. In the evenings, it gets lively with great music. Overall, it might be the best spot to hang out in downtown Rapid City.
Fantastic spot! I’ll definitely be returning.
