Plough - Rangiora

The place was humming. We had a really enjoyable meal and evening. Staff were awesome. Only comment would be that meals were very slow to arrive (but we were told this before we ordered). It was lovely to be able to catch up with the owner towards the end of the evening and thank in person for the great evening. I'd recommend The Plough for your next group dining experience.

A great country pub. Friendly service, great food and plenty of it at a good price. Need to go back to sample dessert. Oh great locals, a lively spot on a Friday night.

Went here for our Xmas break up... 6/12/23 I had the lamb shanks haven't had it since I was a kid. The service was on point lovely friendly and helpful staff. Atmosphere was very nice and chilled..with friendly locals..they also have an outdoor seating area which was really nice aswell.

Popped in for food, having been here before, we knew how good the menu is. We weren't disappointed, the chowder was so decadently creamy, it felt almost guilty eating it. The baked chicken was beautifully prepared and the roast veg was perfectly cooked and so tasty.

Haven't stayed here but we have been here many times for lunch and drinks and always super friendly staff and excellent food. Definitely a favorite pub!
