Moose Alley - Rangeley

The atmosphere is great! The food is okay, but the kitchen is slow.

Currently in Rangeley, we (a family of 5) just went down for bowling and food, we walked in as we were going to eat first and than bowl. My husband asked if we wait or seat ourselves to the lady working the front she said order here and sit , so we started looking at the menus , than a couple minutes later she told us no we had to go get shoes first for bowling so we said okay and went and got into line, we got our shoes and some random dude came up to us and said he paid to book out bowling for the next two hours sorry. So we gave our shoes back and went to the front , were the same lady was, I tired to explained to her that we weren’t with the other party, as there were other parties in there eating and drinking I said we would still like to eat , and she sorry with an attitude and left to go somewhere else in the establishment. It looked nice but we left as no one that worked there seemed to know what was going on or seemed interested in helping customers coming in.

A friend and I were on a motorcycle ride and needed fuel so stopped at a gas station with a convenience store. The store was closed so we thought let's go grab lunch and saw this bar. What an awesome experience this place was. It had a huge indoor gas fireplace with leather recliners all the way around, bowling alley and a dance floor with stage for live music. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was exceptional. This is a must stop bar if in the area!!

2 staff members were incredibly rude right from the start. I'm not sure if it's understaffed stressed, or simply wrong people in the wrong places. Food service is very very slow, but usually good when it decides to come out. Customers seem to be an inconvenience to the owners. I very likely won't be back. There's friendlier places to spend my money

My wife and I pulled in the parking lot to turn around, but.... (because my wife is infatuated with wanting to see a moose and or moose things) and I was hungry we decided to go in and let me tell you I'm soooo happy we did! We ordered burgers at tater tots yummy She had the: Bacon me crazy I had the: whopper popper OMG, the food was AMAZING
