Si Bon - Rancho Mirage

Great food, solid service and a fun vibe. It was so good we came for breakfast and then back for dinner. For breakfast I had the croque madame which is served with a wonderful waffle as it's bread. Surprisingly light and airy, a delicious dish. My wife had a crepe and said it's the best she's had in years. For dinner we both ordered the summer special. I had an ahi tartar to start, a surd and turf and a marscapone cheese cake. My wife had the duck patê, veal dish, and almond pear tart. Everything was amazing. We left overstuffed and enjoyed 2 glasses of wine and coffee for $100. A great deal for what you get. It was mostly locals inside, and most of them knew the chef. Everyone was super sweet to our baby girl as well

Was in the Rancho Mirage area and decided to try this place. Food was superb!! Even on such a sweltering day, I chose to eat outside on the patio with a sandwich and cold glass of beer. The waiter smelled delicious with his cologne, and the food was even more delicious lol The restaurant was packed seemed like a very popular place! Located in a strip mall across from a bank there is ample parking.

Si Bon was amazing. We were curious how they got away with using the Disney font, but stepping inside it almost seems like it was generated with AI. Oversized flowers on the ceiling with a faux-exterior wall with windows into the kitchen, a random gelato display case in a main thoroughfare through the kitchen and back to the bathrooms, and hanging art that genuinely looked AI-generated. I spent some time marveling at the hanging lights and trying to make sense of the decor. I would've liked the place to be a little cooler, since it was a very hot day in the desert. The menus are the coolest menus I've ever seen: They're backlit! Although one of the sides was flickering a bit. We went for the Restaurant Week special, which was a 3-course meal for $34. An incredible value. All 4 of us got 3 different dishes and got to sample each others and every single dish was amazing. I was especially a fan of the Duck Pate, Pork Loin, and Cheesecake combo. I hope they keep up this special because it was a fantastic way to try a lot of amazing different foods. Our service was attentive and helpful. We will be back.

2nd time coming here while visiting on Palm Springs ! We had a great experience the 1st time, so we wanted to come back. The staff is sweet and the prices are so reasonable !!! We always do the preset menu since it's the best deal. There's lots of parking outside ! And they are open for dinner early, as they seem to serve an older crowd.

What a cute cafe in Palm Desert! It is 101 degree out, and we decided to have lunch in their beautiful patio. It was amazing. They have the mister going out in the patio, as we walk into the patio, the temperature must drop 20 degrees. It was cool and comfortable! We ordered a Belgian French Toast and a Mango Stuffed Belgium Waffle. Both were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable! Their service was very good as well. Definitely will come back for brunch.
