With so few food choices, they should do much better. Ordered medium rare steak and got extra well done. Fish was also very over cooked. Gave us a free desert and it was under cooked. We have loved dining here over the years but this will be our last time. They don’t seem to care anymore.
This is a consistently excellent restaurant. We choose the hotel stay based on it. Their weekend brunch buffet is wonderful and their happy hour and dinner menu always has something we enjoy. More importantly in some ways, we have had some of the best servers over the years. This trip we tried their Wednesday Shrimp Linguini dish with fresh made pasta. Five good size tiger prawns and ample pasta to share. Shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly. Would have preferred linguine a little more al dente but still a great quality and generous quantity. We also ordered a salad which pared nicely with the pasta and their sourdough is wonderful.
I the reservation was for 730 pm. We when arrived promptly and on time, the special was advertised! When we where sat and asked for the prime rib, we where told they where sold out. The restaurant is open till 10pm and at 730pm or less than half way through dinner service they where out. I ordered the pasta with shrimp and when it arrived the spinach noodles where not cooked. They where crunch!! Horrible food, my daughter spaghetti sauce tasted like manwich!!
Braciole was tough and chewy. I couldn't eat it so I asked for the Pappardelli. That was bland and soupy. The bread was good, though.
