Oh what a treat this was! We had reservations for a Saturday at 5:30 and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. However, we were directed to a waiting area where there is happy hour all day. My husband and I got Mai Tai’s and the girls got Japanese sodas. All entrees came with miso soup, shrimp, white rice and dessert. The kids meals do as well! I got shrimp, my husband got steak with ahi tuna, chicken kids meal and steak chicken kids meal. We also got 2 sides of garlic fried rice. It was all so delicious! We each got green tea or orange sherbet ice cream which was nice. Our chef put on a performance, but the fire scared the girls a bit. He also threw shrimp for us to catch in our mouths. Only my husband was successful, but it was still fun! We’ll certainly be back.
Great fresh hot food cooks are awesome. A lady sitting with us asked for ginger sauce to be put poured on her steamed rice. I gave that a try too and added good flavor to the white rice
This was $30 to go. And not very good. Fried rice was $7. Tasty, but not worth it at all. Oh, and half the sauce was in my togo bag. And last but not least. You are charged 18% gratuity for take out but they do not have any plastic forks.
Went for a friend’s birthday and had a lot of fun. Be warned that you may wait 30+ minutes even if you have a reservation, which we expected after reading other reviews. We recommend getting a drink at the bar while waiting for your table. No need for $5 valet — free self parking is in the back lot. Our waiter, Allen, was very friendly and did a great job. He even told us that most menu items can be made gluten-free. It’s cooked separately in the kitchen and not on the teppanyaki grill. Husband ordered the steak and scallops gluten-free, and he was still able to enjoy the cooking show with all of us. Teppanyaki show was entertaining. Food was good with the ginger sauce and horseradish-soy sauce they give you. Use the sauces! Overall, this was a fun experience for a birthday celebration.
