Emperor Buffet - Rancho Mirage

Food is okay. Atmosphere needs help. They also need to do a better job cleaning.

Change of ownership May2023. $31 (food+tip) for 1 person lunch now too expensive for low quality food. Not a bargain anymore worth coming for.

Large variety of foods! Nice buffet. I went on Mother's Day (it was a set price of $27.99). I really liked the pork steamed dumplings, shumai, fried bananas, fried shrimp. The Mongolian bbq was also very tasty. Since you can add what you want and its cooked to order, this turned out great! The service was particulalrly fast. The ambiance was a little hectic (but probably standard for an all-you-can-eat buffet). Noise leave was on par with a large restaurant. I'll definitely come back. Lots more to try!

I dragged my habibi there to try this buffet. The food is ok but not delectable the place is filthy our under the table there are lots of trash no one clean up. The toilet is yuck. I am not going back there no more. That was our first time to go in the Buffet. How come the workers there not cleaning the floor and the toilet that’s the important thing for me. We drove far away to have lunch, but it was disappointed. Habibi not eating much he can’t enjoying his food.

First time visiting. Went on a Thursday around 5pm. Not crazy busy. Judging only from my past buffet experiences this buffet can be better which is why I gave it 3 stars. It’s missing ambiance; I felt like I was eating at a place where the people didn’t care about customer service, music wasn’t playing and we had to waive down our waitress for drinks every time. Also as soon as we walked in I immediately smelled the bathroom. They do a good job of not letting it permeate to the rest of the restaurant but I can still smell it. The food was just ok for me. I may return only if absolutely necessary but I do recommend for 1st time visitors.
