Il Forno Classico - Rancho Cordova

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Everything is handmade from scratch. My delightful bartender, Suzanne, suggested I start with the house-made potato chips and French onion dip. Wow! The chips were incredible! The dip was good too, though I felt it could use a bit more onion. For my main course, I had the black and blue burger on house-made focaccia. It was phenomenal! The burger was perfectly juicy, cooked to medium rare, with Bleu cheese and crumbled bacon as the perfect toppings—salty, creamy, and savory all at once. And the fries? Amazing! They were fried to perfection—fluffy and potato-like on the inside, yet crisp on the outside, just how I love them! While I was dining, I noticed a young lady enjoying the mussels and clams appetizer, which looked substantial enough to be a meal on its own. I made a note to order that next time!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waitress, Brook, truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, and my wine selection was equally delightful. I also enjoyed the gelato, which was fantastic. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff was attentive and efficient in accommodating all the diners.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Piccata, both of which were excellent. I will definitely be coming back!

Super friendly attentive professional service, not chatty, just right. Fresh soft flavorful spaghetti and meatball, Always amazing pasta dishes. Don't recommend ordering any type of meat here whatsoever, only pasta dishes. Extensive wine list at all price points.
