I was honestly skeptical about the food. I have been loyal custom to my local Chinese take spot for quite sometime. I have tried other Chinese takeout and was somewhat disappointed on their food. But that’s not case here, the food I ordered from Shang hai was very flavorful and enjoyable, although the vegetable fried rice was slightly on the bland side. But overall the food was good and I’ll probably order food from here again.

Decided to try a new place tonight. I've tried most Chinese places around ramsey and Mahwah in the last 6 years and this is now my favorite Chinese place. I got the vegetable low mein and general tsos tofu. It was very good. Also the scallion pancakes were really crunchy and came with this really awesome sauce. I will be ordering from them again.

I frequently order lunch from this restaurant for work, but they are always late—between 40 minutes to an hour. When I call to inquire about my order, they hang up on me, which is very rude and disrespectful. I won't be ordering from here again. The food is often cold and tastes old. If customers continue to be treated this way, they shouldn’t spend their money here. It’s important to treat the customers who keep your business running well; otherwise, they won't support you.
